Reading - James Patterson - The Quickie

What are you reading? I like to try and read a book a month. I don't belong to any kind of a book club. I just enjoy reading, after all there is only so much TV anyone can watch. So, I just finished Julie & Julia, and when at the grocery store, they had The Quickie on sale, $4.79 for a paperback, the new kind of tall kind that is supposed to be easier to read. Can't wait. I wanted to read this in hardback, but never got to it, had it on hold at the Library, and never got to it. So, I am so excited to start reading. What are you reading?

What are you reading on your back porch this summer? I would say beach -- but I live too far from the beach so, I read by the pool on the back porch, with a fan blowing and some tasty Iced Tea. I am reading a classic I hunted down on Ebay and was lucky enough to get the whole set. The Cheerleader, about a 1950's cheerleader and her coming of age. Just finished it and am looking forward to the sequal Snowy which is sitting on my desk as I type this. So look around your bookshelf and see what you are reading, it is a great summer time break, and great for your mind too.
